| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 30, 2006 2002 bottle. hazy yellowish orange with a billowing white head. fades a bit but retains a nice lacing. aroma is very woody, musty, and dry. Light to medium bodied with a silky mouthfeel. Much more dry and woody flavors than your typical Cantillon. Notes of oak, horseblanket, citric acid, pepper, and spontaneous yeast. Still a great beer, but this kind of let me down. beastiefan2k (1607), Lawrence (formely NYC), Kansas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 18, 2006 2003 bottle, I bought this after notalush and apoptosis got it, just cause I wanted something sour and why not this. Poured with a small head that quickly dissipates. Color is dark yellow falling into an orange area with some golden tints. Aroma is signature Cantillon with the acidic tartness with lemon and other fruit resemblances. The mouthfeel is a bit heavier and less carbonated than usual Cantillon. Taste is a little disappointing, has some woodsy characters to it. Still finishes with a nice mouth puckering sourness. Also, nice but the Kriek is just great. zebracakes (1217), Washington DC, USA

Aroma is sour, tart, funky, musty, and tangy. Flavor is tart, sour dough, bleu cheese, slight hint of grapes. Wonderful! Schultsc (486), Henderson, Nevada, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 3, 2006 2003. Light gold with a loose, thin head. Sour "Belgian" fermentation aromas with lemon, earth, and some complex aspects from aging. Definitely light-bodied with strong tartness that still manages to be quite lithe. Simple yet multi-dimensional flavors make this out to be quite an interesting lambic experience. marcus (1904), Sacramento, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Nov 24, 2006 This dark golden lambic poured with a large head that dissipated right away. There is a heavy yeasty grapefruit flavor. Just right - not too tart, not too sweet, but full-bodied. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal

Oaky and acidic gueuze at a more high drinkable level that expected. A wonderful orange colour with grapefruitnotes and a nice mediumhoppy aftertaste. Must try it again!!!!!!! apoptosis (1316), Long Island, New York, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Nov 23, 2006 This beer looks nice: pretty, clear, orange-copper-colored, with a lush head that eventually fades down to a small lacing. The aroma is terrily stinky: a great indication of a lambic - smells cheesy and musty. The flavor is much milder than I exected, and I really wish I had cheese with this one. It is really very tasty: slightly malty and sweet, pungent and tart, with hints of peaches or apricots. Nice. notalush (2699), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Nov 23, 2006 I wanted something special for Thanksgiving, and this beer is not disappointing me (not as great as the LP Kriek, but I don’t think much can be ) - clear straw color, with large, but quickly fading head - very funky, barnyardy aroma, that one of my family members (not a beer drinker, obviously) just described as smelling "like a skunk" - oh well, more for me - surprising initial hop flavor up front, but this fades very fast, making way for a very mellow sourness (strange for this brewer) - very strong oak flavor, with a hint of vanilla that gives the beer a slight whiskey character (but it is very gentle) - wheat (and other grains) and horseblanket/earthiness on the back end - I’ve never had a beer with such a strong oak presence that wasn’t overpoweringly woody - I wonder how they do it - quite approachable for a Cantillon, but delicious none-the-less.
