Jul 11, 2008 Bottle (2005). Musty basement and red cherry aroma. Ruby red color with moderate head. Dry musty tart cherry/lemon peel flavor. The finish is so light and dry, it’s almost like drinking air. Not so much a beer as a work of art.

Jul 11, 2008 Sampled at Bocky Bash on 7-5-08. Had a fermented fruit aroma. Red body with pink head. Good cranberry flavor with the lambic tart in the mix. Good stuff.

Jul 8, 2008 Sampled at Bockyhorsey’s Bocky Bash on 7-5-08. Nice cloudy red pour with a foamy pink head. Lots of sour cherries and red fruits in the aroma. Same in the flavor with a bit of lemon, spice, and funk. Nicely carbonated. Slightly dry finish. Fantastic!

Jul 7, 2008 2001 bottle courtesy of guerde and shared at the 7/5/08 Bocky Bash locals tasting. Pours a cloudy cranberry with white head. Nose is funk, vinegar and cherries. Taste is sour cherries, lemon juice, funk, balsamic vinegar and aspirin. Prickly, medium mouth feel. Very good – thanks Andy!

Jul 7, 2008 75 cL bottle. Pours hazy golden red with a huge pink head - slowly diminishing to nothing. Aroma is dry cherries with a note of the classic Cantillon barnyard dryness. Light almond note too. Flavou is solid acidic with a stringent sulphorish note to a dry yet fruity cherry flavour. Reveals almond like note into the far finish.
