Crushed with Jakeba and co. Not the best nose. But the flavor is just about as much as you want. Sour strawberries and awesomeness. Not quite worth the price, but definitely sexy.

Bottled at Horsens Beerfestival. Deep red body with a small pink head. Nice aroma of cherry, acid and barnyard. Flavor is refreshing sour, cherry, a hint of almond and wood. Very nice indeed and less sour than many other beers from Cantillon.

Tasted 2008-12-30. Bottle from 2005. Pours dark purple/red - almost black. Quickly dissappearing head. Smells sour, rough. Barnyardish. Some hidden sweet cherries in there. Very acidic and yet somewhat bitter taste. Very wild. Quite tasty.

On Tap @ Maproom. Pale pinky red color with a minimal head. Great aroma and taset of wonderful sour cherries. A little bit of lambic funkiness to go along with it. The flavor is somewhat watery but fantastic none-the-less. A bit too easy to drink for the price.

Purple haze. Aroma of sour cherries being chewed by horses. Sour at the back of the palate, with fruit up front. Musty dry finish. Clasic

2006 on draft at Map Room. Pours a nice, purpley pink red. Nose is quite subdued, relatively. Nice oak notes with old grass and hay, cherry fruit roll-ups and a little funk. Taste is much the same. very subdued acidity for a Cantillon. Mellow and tart with a definite cherry taste. Finish is nice and long with oak notes and more cherry coming through. Much preferred to Schaerbeekse, actually. Very nice.

Pours a ruby red with a thin pink head. Aroma of sour cherries, wood and barnyard funk. Flavor is complex and tart with sour cherries, wood/oak, funk, acidic and nicely carbonated. Light to medium body with a tart dry finish. Excellent lambic.

Sampled during Minnesota first annual Sourfest and shared by Badgerben. Pours a semi-hazy mahogany brew with a fizzy pinkish head that slowly dissipates to an off-white ring. Aroma of tart cherries, barnyard funk, some sour dough bread and light citrus. Taste is spritzy, medium bodied with flavors of yeast, cherries, a touch of vanilla and oak. Finish is semi-tart, dry with a metallic cherry aftertaste. Pretty much a solid Kriek.
