0.75 l bottle, vintage 2004. Hazy deep red color with thick pink head. Very sour and juicy cherry aroma with grapefruit, strawberry and barnyard. Very sour, dry and juicy flavor with cherry, strawberry and wild yeast bitterness. Fairly full bodied and filling for a lambic, not so drinkable.

Maroon body with no head. The nose is sour pie cherries, cheese, lactic acid and horseblanket. The flavor is moderately sour and lightly sweet with lots of fresh cherries, almonds, cheese, yogurt, melon and a touch of cotton candy. Medium body is very soft with light carbonation. Fantastic kriek.

2005 vintage on tap at map room. One of the most beautiful beers I have ever seen. The most astounding color of red I have witnessed in a beer. Beautiful thin pink head... truely an amazing appearance. Nose is lovely cherry, wood, and sour notes. Flavor is perfect tart cherry. Feels wonderful in your mouth, juicy and tart. You want to chug this... though doing so would be a sin. Finish is rather dry, the bret sucks the moisture from your mouth, leaving you yearning for another sip. Ends with an almost cherry popsickle flavor that is a perfect end to this wonderful brew. More please!!!

Sampled at Delirium Cafe: 2004 Aroma is amazing. Floral, sour, funky effervescence. Pours vibrant bright red with a pink head. Very beautiful. Flavor is exquisite, perfectly round. Various sour notes, sour cherries, rustic lemon, dry, complex, and harmonious. Mouth feel is great tiny bubbles caress the tongue as the acidity brings a slight pucker to the mouth. Truly exquisite.

Draft at Max’s. Deep ruby red color. Very acidic vinegar aroma with lots of cherries. Really delicious. Nice and sour cherry taste with a really creamy oak finish. Heavenly

I really have to visit this brewery! On draft at Max’s 72 Hours of Belgian. A pink cherry gift from heaven. What can you say... yeasty, sour cherries. Slight woodiness and a bit of a carbonation kick. Nice....

75cl bottle. 2003. Pours wonderful unclear pink with a fine white head. Very sour & fresh & fruity aroma and taste. Cherries & matured oak notes. Very dry & fresh taste of sour cherries. Sticky & fizzy carbonation. Typical cantillon - typical wonder journey to the "pharcyde".

[bottle, dated 2002] Nice aroma, very typical Cantillon house character, super funky yeast. Leathery oak and tart fruit. Beautiful reddish pink color with some fine white bubbles around the glass. Flavors are super tart, sour and dry. Fruit flavors are very well rounded, but again, so damn dry. Outstanding overall.
