Bottla at Akkurat - Thanks Jens. Clear deep red - small white head. Taste: Berries, acid, light sourness, dryness, medium sweetness, grape, light fruity. Medium to high dry finish. This is very nice and pleasant !!

Bottled @ Akkurat, Stickholm. Pours a slightly hazy pinkish red color with a white head. Sour tart fruity grape aroma. Sweet tart and sour grape flavor with hints of grapefruit. Tart fruity finish with lots of grapes in the aftertaste.

Cloudy interesting colour, hesitating between orange, pink and red, the off-white cover diminishes rapidly. Another stunningly unique creation. Supremely aromatic grapes procure fragrant cherry, tart red apple and red currant aromas. All bright, scintillating and fresh. Alive, while the strong acidic, citrus fruits: lemon juice, graefruit rind remain more at the front than at the back. Indeed in mouth, this basically attacks. A strong bite, pretty much as different than the Muscat with regards to the discrepancy between aroma and taste. Overwhelming tannins seize the gums, even by Cantillon’s standards. This most delicate grape has gotten completely eaten out, leaving an absolutely bone-dry setup, as dry as it gets I would say, perhaps more than intended? The astringency feels a bit much for me anyway, removing a fair bit from the otherwise fun fruit brightness. Still, the underlying lambic is of course flawless, citric, yogurty and infinitely farmy. If anything, a very, very memorable beer. This is to dryness what Darklord is to thickness.

Bottled. An unclear red beer with a fast disappearing off-white head. The aroma is acidic with strong notes of berries, wine, and tea - as well as a light hoppy note. The flavor is acidic in a wonderful way with notes of acidic grapes, grapefruit, and other unripe fruits. The acidity draws the mouthwater, before a dry end sets in. Lovely. Sampled this deep down in the cellar of Akkurat October 2005, graciously served by the bars owner Sten - thank you so much!!

Bottled. Hazy amber colour, not much head. Aroma is red grapes and sourness. Slightly barnyardish also. Flavour is strong and dry hay, nuts and grapes. Well done. Grapes and slight hayish notes in aftertaste.

Bottled vintage 2005 @Akkurat. Cherry red color, not much head. Sour red grape and barnyard aroma. Acidy, fruity, very barnyardish and very red wine like flavor. Bonedry. Long sour aftertaste.

Bottle, with ClarkVV and Sully. Pretty good stuff, hazy deepish red colour. Aroma is sour, farmyardy, with some vinous red wine qualities coming through. Palate is typically sour. Typical Cantillon. Mouthfeel is slightly richer than i remember other Cantillons being. I think the Pinot Noir is quite noticebale, with a definite red grape character jumping out in the flavour. The finish is lovely, juicy and acidic. I would love to try this again. Thanks Clark!
