| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 1, 2007 2002 750 ml bottle shared with willblake and Disckinsonbeer. Poured a hazy coppery/orange with some light pink tones and a quickly fading head. Aroma is tart with lots of sour fruit shining through, even thought this is raspberry based I was getting strong cherry notes. Flavor was beyond tart, probably one of the sourest beers I have ever had. If you don’t like sour then run far far away from this sour bomb. Dickinsonbeer (3497), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 1, 2007 Pours a light copper with a pinkish almost violet hug, fizzy carbonation and a short lived head. Aroma is Tart and pungent with tons of fruit character from even a couple feet away. Tart- acidic, raspberry and sour as hell cherries. Acidic sharp flavor, tart cherries, raspberries, lactic, funky, a bit doughy, sweetness lasts for a second until it hits the bakc of the throat then the sour puckering effect takes place. Damn acidi and sour- but so damn good. I love this beer. Bottle- 2002. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of fermented raspberries, the nose was scarring me, as i am just starting to find myself adjusted to lambic’s, the nose is overwhelmingly sour. The taste is fruity, and just to sour for me. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Pours a reddish-orange with an ephemeral white head. Sharp vinegar and barnyard aroma. The taste is dominated by the acidity and I had difficulty detecting any fruit. Thin mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. I was really excited to try this one, but I seemed to have missed out on its complexity. I guess I’ll have to revisit this one when my palate has developed further. zebracakes (1216), Washington DC, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Bottle. Pours hazy ruby watermelon orange, delicate pink-lavender, white hued head. Aroma is berries, funky, musty, tangy, bleu cheese, also that smell when you first light charcoal for a BB-Q. Flavor is slight charcoal, sour tangy raspberry, sour dough, bleu cheese, popsicle stick wood after you’ve finished the popsicle. I’ve been having a pretty awful day, and this lambic just hit the spot.
