This one pours a deep raspberry red color topped by a small white film with some spotty lacing around the glass. The aroma shows notes of tart merlot grapes, fresh berries, and some mild barnyard funk. The flavor shows more tart, red grapes and other berries to go with sours lemons, oak flavors, and some funky yeast. The flavors are tart, but not overly sour which reallys helps pull all the flavors together. The mouthfeel is light bodied and very carbonated and effervesent. This is a nice drinker with the tartness and berry sweetness blending well together on the finish. I need to try more Cantillons.

Dégusté avec french tickler, agaguk et parozoid le 21 janvier 2008. Cloudy pinkish/red poor very thick looking with alomst zero head. Aromas are earthy, very complexe, rhubarb, red wine vinegar, celery salt, cumin, humidity, pommegranite and dandelions. Very acid and sour yet amazingly balanced for a lambic. Long lasting everything!Once the beer gets to room temperature it becomes slightly sweeter. Flavors are somewhat the same oas the aromas... added sour apples. After the acid /sour explosion i get hints of mixed nuts and ash. What an experience and amazing for its kind.

Bottled at Horsens Beerfestival. Hazy reddish body with a disappearing pink head. Aroma is acidic, barnyard and fruity. Flavor is sour, young fruit, wood and tart. The finish is long and acid. Delicious and relatively mild to be Cantillon.

Bottle. Poured hazy purple color with minimal fizzy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Good tart grape & yeasty aroma. Medium body with tingly texture and lively carbonation. Moderate to heavy sour fruity flavor with a solid tart fruit and small alcohol bite finish of moderate to long duration. This is a standout lambic.
