Aromas are earthy, very complexe, rhubarb, red wine vinegar, celery salt, cumin, humidity, pommegranite and dandelions. Very acid and sour yet amazingly balanced for a lambic. Long lasting everything!Once the beer gets to room temperature it becomes slightly sweeter. Flavors are somewhat the same oas the aromas... added sour apples. After the acid /sour explosion i get hints of mixed nuts and ash. What an experience and amazing for its kind. Guerde (710), Welcome, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 10, 2008 (tasted at the Cellar’s after-tasting) Pours cloudy red with a white head. Aroma smells just like the cow barns at a county fair. Basically what I’m trying to say is it smells like cow manure. There’s funk there too, but this smells like any other high-end lambic maybe a little stronger. Taste had all of your typical lambic qualities, sour, tart apple, little bit of cherry and that’s about it. Lingering sour aftertaste. Not bad, but not my favorite style. jhagmar (114), Gothenburg, Sweden

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 2, 2008 Courtesy of Pailhead. July ’06. Bright red, chill haze, no head. Huge sour/tart kick up front, mouth puckering w/o taking a sip. Tart grapes and huge woody tannins in the background. Flavor again, very sour up front, faint grape and lacto. Through the middle develops a nice balance of sour/tart/wood tannin. Sort of 1 dimensional in a way, but I like it. ba2008 (25), USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 2, 2008 Pours an amazing deep pink-red, with a very mild head on top. Nose is quite sour, a little sweet fruit too. Taste is similar; this beer is incredibly sour, a hint of sweet raspberry deliciousness as well, but overall a quite not-sweet beer. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 1, 2008 Stunning deep red look with an almost pink head. Aroma is heavy eartheren dusty along with sour rubberlike wild fermentation and minor sweet almost cherry like fruitness. Heavy sour flavor towards tart, with only minor notes of fruity grapes. Is acctually very simular to the vignerone imo. I still enjoyed the entire bottle though. OSLO (827), Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 20, 2007 [Bottle] Pours hazy red with no head. Aroma is very funky, quite tart, and then grapes. Taste is is the same with the sourness coming through more as expected. Finish is a bit dry. An enjoyable beer, but it really didn’t separate itself from other fruit lambics I’ve had. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 11, 2007 The color is like raspberry juice and the head is nice and pink. The aroma has notes of barnyard, sweat, basement and wine. The flavour has notes of moderately sour grapes, sweat and basement. I’m not fond of this style. 2406
