And it tastes like it with a hint of grapiness imparted from the Burgundy barrels. Very tart, though less so than Cantillon’s other lambics. Pink in color. Complex. thornecb (1774), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 11, 2006 From a 750mL Bottle. Pours a rich, burgundy mahagony with a light layer of pinkish head. Tart raspberry aromas mingle with sour pinot noir grapes and some soft oaky vanilla tones. Crisp, sour mouthfeel with a prickling carbonation feel. Loads of fresh, tart, under-ripe dark fruit flavors dance on the palate. More tart berry flavors and some sour raspberry seeds tickle my tongue before finishing in a dry, woody smack. yngwie (4970), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 10, 2006 Bottled at Horsens Beerfestival. Clear, red beer with a pink head. Yeast, mould, sourness and berries in the aroma. Yeasty flavor with barnyard-notes. Astringent, thin body and a stinging finish. A nice, teeth-cleansing beer, but as usual with lambics I have troubles describing it, but really love it. (061028)
