[Vintage 1999] The aroma is sweet and sour with notes of cherries and grapes. The color is an unclear deep red and it has a fine pink head though disappearing. The flavor is sour with strong grape notes and acid from the wild fermentation. It ends on a woody dryness. This beer has a lovely flavor.

(Bottle 75 cl) Hazy reddish with a rather handsome, pinkish head. Markedly sour aroma. Very sour flavours with typical Cantillon barnyard notes - this is like red wine vinegar with some fruityness. 120106

37.5 cL bottle, cheers Jeppe. Pours hazy maber/redish with a fizzy and quickly disappearing pink head. Acidic dry brett aroma with a tart fruit note. Dry woody flavour with a nice grape flavour and very wineous notes. Light acidic dry flavour following. Shivering citric dry finish. Lovely! Very nice fruity lambic, classic Cantillon with a refreshing grape flavour.

Bottled. Deep red with aroma of red berries. Woody and vinous, and unusually sweet for a Cantillon. Still tart and complex with a citric acid finish with some bitterness, seemingly from the stones (or do you say seeds?) in the grape.

Extra rating 1: St Lamvinus 2002 Merlot. Light red. Woody, vinous character, balanced acidity. Juicy, sparkling and very dry with pleasant grape stone bitterness (9/4/7/4/16).

Extra rating 2: St Lamvinus 2003 Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep clear red. Fruity vinousaroma. Citric with notes of barnyard and juicy aromatic grapes. Sweeter than the Merlot variety. Complex and intense. (9/4/8/5/16)

Bottle 75cl.
Light unclear medium red color with a virtually none appearance, virtually none lancing, head. Aroma is grape sour - acidic, vinous, tart. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and acidic with a long duration, and a dry tart finish. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. ;o)) (250508)

cloudy red, fine beige head, strong musty earthy aroma with a tart essence, creamy body, lots of tart fruity character with an earthy muskyness, the fruit character keeps growing and keeps up with the tartness,
