Pours a clear straw/golden with a fine white froth. Dusty funky nostril tingling but still soft and super appealing aroma. Super sour, love the sourness, acidic, dusty, very very tangy, mouth puckering but quite sophisticated, lovely, touch of bitterness rounds it out. Fine smooth ubiquitous soft sizzling carbonation. Love it!

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 1, 2010 Poured a golden yellow with a moderate head and a slight bit of lacing (which was surprising because i always heard of this one being flat).
Nose was heavy on white wine, green grapes, oak, dust, and lemon peel.
Taste was grat, I always heard this one wasnt very sour, maybe not compared to cantillon kriek, but there is a good amount of tartness and sourness to it. No vinegar or heat at all, very bright flavor profile, green grape skins, old oak, floral, hints of lemon, and a great tartness that reminds me very much of cascade The Vine. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 30, 2009 Thanks to Blake for bringing this over!.. bottled 12/24/08. Poured hazy peachy-golden with a little bit of white head. The aroma picked up foot-like funk and white grapes first and foremost.. lemon and oaky highlights.. a touch of vinegar too. Sour oak and vinegar opened the flavor department with the grapes taking over the middle.. white grapes and vinegary notes through the finish.. a little too much residual sugarage at the end. Sour on the palate, but not Cantillon sour.. again a bit too sugary.. extremely drinkable. 1FastSTi (2590), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 29, 2009 750 ml bottled on 12/24/2008. The beer pours to a super murky yellow orange straw colored body with a starch white head. The aroma is bready sourdough and sweet white grapes. Light twangy barnyard. The flavor is light sourdough bread with a strong sweet muscat grape. Extremely flavorful with lots of uniqueness and complexity. The palate is sweet and lightly tart. (Not like most other Cantillon products) Medium bodied but finishes really clean. Petrucci914 (601), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 26, 2009 Pours a hazy straw color with a medium soapy head which faces rather quickly. Aroma is horse blanket, tart grapes, and light musty cheese. Taste is initially very tart and carbonated but as you drink it, it becomes much smoother. This tasted a lot like a unblended lambic as it was a bit one-dimensional in its flavor, but overall it was solid. Juelze (922), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 26, 2009 Thanks for sharing bro! Pours a hazy wheat color with thin off white head that fades quickly. Aroma is of tart fruit, grape, yeast funk, wheat and leather. Taste is white grape, horseblanket, wheat, light leather and light lemon. Definitely drink this slightly chilled, too cold and it’s a bit abrasive. ucusty (1920), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA

Aroma of green apple and white grapes. Really tart (lemony) upfront. Finish is dry. Notable hints of grapes, green apple, wheat, leather, and cheese KyotoLefty (1499), Kyoto, Japan

Aroma of citrus, grapes, leather, horse blanket, lemon.
Pale straw-like yellow-gold color with just a bit of lace. Like golden Muscat grapes.
Flavor: Sweetness from the grapes matches sour, dry, and creamy. Lemons, icy dryness, funk, milk. Wow. Very complex. The sweet grapes add a very fresh dimension. Probably the sweetest Cantillon I’ve had. Yet superbly balanced by citric sourness and that exquisite dryness. Nice stuff. Not my favorite of theirs, but super refreshing and interesting. Uber funk. One of the most sour beers I’ve sampled to date. Acidic. Vinous white grapes. Very dry. Medium body. Balanced carbonation. Intense brew. Held up surprisingly well.
