Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. (brewed by Olde Saratoga Brewing.) Hazy amber, creamy head. Phenolic coriander aroma. Sweet and fruity with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Limp and appley, no banana esters, yet a sickly mess. Not the slightest trace of hefeweizen here, nor any redeeming qualities for that matter.

Nov 30, 2009 12 oz. bottle served in a weizen. Pours amber gold with a 1/2" off white head. Mild banana and clove aroma and taste. Thinnish palate. Not much else to say. Pretty good.

Oct 25, 2009 Pours gold into a weizen. Head quickly recedes to nothing. Bubblegum and clove aromas. Dry with slight banana and a lasting sour finish.

Sep 29, 2009 Poured a nice bronze color with a big white head a lot darker than I thought it would be. Lots of sweetness and a very smooth finish I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Sep 17, 2009 Apple and clove nose. Clear golden, thin head, pretty much like apple juice. Tastes like it smells, but with the cloves taking a more dominant role. It actually has a bit of a barnyard finish. Not in the mold of a true hefeweizen, but fairly tasty. Wanting in malt and/or esters.

On tap at Barcade. Pours a lightly orange amber with a thin white head. Light citrus and malt, almost a touch of banana. Medium body, light malt profile, a bit of banana, Finishes with some light malt and some spicy banana flavors.

Aug 29, 2009 12 oz bottle. Light golden, slightly opaque pour with a thin white head. Aroma of yeast and malt. Fairly thin body. Wheat taste with a few faint spices present. A safe hefe but nothing really stands out.

Aug 14, 2009 Bottle. Before disturbing the sediment, this hefeweizen pours a translucent amber with a short fizzy white head. After dumping in the sediment laden slurry, the beer takes on a muddied gold color with a short fizzy white head. Aroma is wheat, yeast, bready malts, bubblegum, clove and light banana. Taste is sweet malts, big wheat and yeast notes, strong banana, light spice and light candy notes. Body is light and rather bubbly. Finish is more clove and wheat. Lots of banana and yeast along with more candy notes and sweet malt.
