Nice color, subdued malt sweetness, subdued hoppiness. Nothing to hate, but not a lot to get excited about. Like every other amber ale I’ve ever tried. GirlyBeer (183), Biddeford, Maine, USA

Sweet, mallty with slightly cereal flavor. MIld aroma of malt and hops. Mildly hoppy finish. Slight amount of yeast flocuation at the bottom of the glass. Rastacouere (5565), Montréal, Quebec, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 27, 2005 Deep orange with a slight haze, faint white head. Straightforward sweet and grainy malts completed by a racy floral hop touch. Quite bitter, certainly dry, brings forth slight nutty oiliness, but remains tame in all its componenents. Light bodied, crisp texture. From average to average. Mangino (1027), Mississippi, USA

Aroma is stale and cheesy, some caramel as well. Flavor is bitter, dark fruits and caramel. heemer77 (4312), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 17, 2005 Poured a medium orange with a thin head. The aroma was Colby cheese with some old toffee. There was also a hint of butterscotch. The taste had some funky cardboard and old tobacco. There was also some light orange peel. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 16, 2005 Clear amber body. Slightly roasty cyrstal malt aroma. Bitter start to the flavor (noble hops) leading to average caramel. Unripe raspberry finish. StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 10, 2005 Gentle hiss as the cap comes off, pouring a semi-hazy and dull glowing copper color. Icy, graying head. Aroma has honeyed hops, sugary pecans, sweet nectar, some spruce, orange sprits, caramel and campfires. Bright and dry flavor. Hops bitter in their intention with scant sweetening for support. It’s as if carbonated orange seltzer water is overriding all other characteristics. Sandpaper palate met by hops and carbonation centered points of origin. Finishes like steel, caramel and subdued hop pellets. Thanks for the bottle, Thaichile.
