The body is a tad too dark for an IPA though. Pleasently strong aroma of citric fruits with cantelop melons prominent. Hoppy flavor with nice bitter notes on a malt base. Unfortunately, the hops have no character, just bitterness. The body is a tad too thick and should have been stronger. On continued coinsumption, one thing is apparent, the flavors vanish! dolemike1 (1129), Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 8, 2007 Bottle Orange amber pour with decent head. Grassy hop aroma and flavor, but flavor has more piney hops too. Dry finish and medium body. golubj (1289), Sunnyvale, California, USA

Aroma of malt, and slightly metallic grassy hops. The flavor is mostly of pine and citrus hops, but also has the dry-hopped flavor. Not bad, but not great either. kmweaver (2465), Sebastopol, California, USA

Pours a hazy, yellowish-amber color; off-white head with patchy lacing. Light citrus and maple syrup in the aroma. Crisp, hoppy mouthfeel: light, with a pleasant malt backbone. Medium, citrus hop finish; slightly dry. scraff (1942), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Nose held soft notes of toasted caramel and florals. Lightly hopped flavors of dirty earth and tea gain balance form the light toasty sweet caramel malt. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry bittersweet finish. Nothing great to speak of here, just ok…. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Apr 24, 2007 Tinny and smelly in the nose, not much different in the flavor. Tastes of old peanuts and some mold, I’m sure that the sweaty sock and moldly lawn clippings are supposed to be hops, and that the dirty penny metallic tinge is supposed to be bitterness, but maybe I’m wrong. radagast83 (1302), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
