| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 25, 2008 Courtesy of GMCC2181. 12oz bottle pours up orange - copper with thin off white head. The mild aroma comes off as roasty with just a bit of pine hop character. The taste begins with roasted malts and pine hop bitterness and moves towards a little nuttiness and faint butterscotch. Midway and to the finish the roasted malts and pine hop bitterness alternately surge forward and back again in strength. It leaves a tasty hop bitterness and mild roasted malt note behind in the after taste favoring the hops. Sigmund (2284), Hafrsfjord, Norway

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 14, 2008 Pours dark orange / bronze with a deep tan head that’s quite dark for an IPA. The arom has lots of chewy malt and some fully juicy grapefruit and orange. Medium / full body with semi-sharp carbonation that’s a bit slick. The flavor starts with dry toffee, caramel, toasted malt and light woodiness. The finish is dry and lingering. Okay IPA. MesandSim (5851), London, Greater London, England

Fairly raw and alcoholic aroma with a straight forward hop juice kick. Raw as hell once it gets into the mouth. This is almost like it hasn’t been brewed and they have just plonked some hops into a load of vodka. Rough as hell and not for me. maeib (4725), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England

Aroma - Toast, burnt caramel, some spicy and eartht hop aromas
Appearance - Clear orange/amber, rather spare off white head, just so-so lace
Flavor - Malt flavors dominate, notably caramel, some spicy bitterness enters late
Palate - Medium body and carbonation, slightly resinous,, and a bit of stickiness.
Overall - A little too malt dominated for my tastes, but quite drinkable.
