Nice initial flavors of pumpkin spice followed by roast, and a hint of smoke/burnt malts. Dry bitter finish, a little lingering spice. Good stuff. hopscotch (5507), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 27, 2008 Bottle… Pours pitch black with a small, creamy, khaki head. The aroma is of pumpkin pie, but also offers chocolate and deeply roasted notes. Medium-bodied with dancing carbonation. Leans just a whisker onto the bitter side of balance. Burnt notes intermingle with nutmeg and pumpkin essences. Acrid, tangy finish. Bottle courtesy of beerbill! jimmack (1221), Nutley, New Jersey, USA

Mild pumpkin spice aroma(nutmeg, cinnamon, brown sugar) along with some roasted notes and a bit of chocolate. Lightly bitter roasted malt flavor works well with the sweet spices. The pumpkin spice flavors start to realy emerge as the beer warms. Pretty tasty. blipp (1685), Newark, New Jersey, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 20, 2008 I loved this beer The aroma is great on this, giving huge pumpkin, allspice, and chocolate malt. The pour is onyx, very deep black, with a subdued khaki head. The taste is chocolate malty, with a heavy dose of pumpkin, some brown sugar, nutmeg, and pumpkin spice notes. Rich, complex palate that stays pretty tart toward the end. This is one of the more unique styles I’ve ever had, and proves to me that there is a lot more that can be done with pumpkin experimentation, as well as fruity stouts. This one worked very well for me Papsoe (15103), Frederiksberg, Denmark
