Pours a dark cola brown brew with a thin tan head that slowly dissipates to a thin off-white ring. Aroma of chocolate and pumpkin, nutmeg, a hint of clove and vanilla. Taste is medium bodied, with more distinct chocolate and pumpkin flavors with some flowery hops and vanilla. Finish is semi-sweet a light smoked background with mild pumpkin aftertaste. The chocolate pumpkin flavor was a first time experience. grandridge (222), Port Clinton, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 17, 2009 Pours deep brown with a head that vanishes fast. Aroma definitely has some pumpkin spice in there, nutmeg, and cinnimon. Flavor is unique, heavy in spice light to medium body and carbonation. Spice esp nutmeg overrides the pumpkin but finishes with a slight roast. Sour up front while a little bitter in the finish. Sweet malt with a slight hop backbone makes this a descently balanced brew. Enjoyable and very drinkable, but not something I would seek out. Ron (1039), Rochester, New York, USA

Aroma of sweet malt with several various spices and pumpkin. Nutmeg, a little vanilla, coriander, cinnamon and chocolate all add to the great flavor. Touch of smoke for good measure. This was a great pumpkin Stout. maniac (2770), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 11, 2009 Bottle from MrBendo. Thanks! Pours dark and mostly black with some light getting through and a short lived light tan head. Smell is lightly of pumpkin pie spice and perhaps some caramel but no real roastiness. Taste is mildly of watery roast along with pumpkin pie spice. Not very pumpkin like behind the dry bitter roasty malt flavor. Decent, but nothing spectacular. JK (2967), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 9, 2009 Mild pumpkin aroma and flavor. Some nutmeg, just a little cinnamon. Black color and a roasted malt flavor, that hides the pumpkin more than anything else. Maybe it is past its prime now, in January. Barrios (861), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
