| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 8, 2009 Location: I’ve had this one at quite a few different restaurants/bars around Cape Cod over the years, this rating is from a draft I had on 10/6/09 at a restaurant in Hyannis
Aroma: A nice toasted malty and caramel nose
Appearance: Pours a nice dark amber color
Flavor: Tasty mostly malt, light hop flavor
Palate: Smooth, medium body, easy drinking
Overall Impression:
I think this one is a pretty nice draft red that I try to have at least once or twice every time I make it down to the Cape.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 30, 2009 My Bottom Line:
This clean and nourishing Amber Ale develops chewy caramelized and toasted cereals atop minutious wooden hops and their whispering bitterness.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the dark red.
-The malt profile is this beer’s best asset, imho.
-Light fruity esters roam within.
-This is very drinkable; Québécois beer lovers would liken it to the best generic "Rousse" ales around the province.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Apr 2, 2009 Draft in Sandwich. Nice reddish color. Not much aroma. Light taste of nuts, caramel with a fruity end ( pears? ) . Soft bitter aftertaste. Not bad. Would be great to find it in Quebec... porterhouse (1162), Alna, Maine, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 12, 2009 (Draft) Pours lightly hazy reddish amber wirh a finger of light biege head that recedes to a thin lasting cap. Aroma of light caramel and fruit. Mouthfeel fairly smooth, just a bit pebbly, a bit dryish toward finish. Nice well-retained light rings and sheets of lacing. Flavor of light caramel and fruit. Light-medium bitterness builds and provides a light pinch in finish. Light bitter aftertaste. Fairly pleasant. BroSpud (612), , Massachusetts, USA

A friend showed up at our campsite with a jug of this stuff and it really hit the spot. One of the better red ales I have had, Can’t wait to try some other stuff from this brewery. chrissy (122), Connecticut, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Oct 21, 2008 (tap)A nice looking amber ale. I tasted some sort of tree nut in the taste. It smelled of turtle candy, with chocolate caramel and pecans. General66 (171), Streator, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 25, 2008 drubel2’s parents brought a growler of this back from Cape Cod for him. He game me a glass to try. Pours a nice mahogany color with a one finger width white fluffy head. There was not much to the aroma... a little bit of floral accents and a bit of caramel. The taste was very refreshing with hints of caramel, nuts and sugar. This beer was good... nothing too out of the ordinary though. I am glad I was able to try this...
