| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Oct 12, 2003 When poured into my glass, the head was small in size with a white hue and it consisted of fine-small bubbles that quickly dissipated. The body was carbonated and hazy with a yellow-gold hue. The nose was malty, sweet, and fruity. The flavor was sweet and fruity tasting wtih a smooth, thin, watery texture and it was light bodied. Not a beer that I particulary cared for by this brewer. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 29, 2003 This brew poured a medium sized head of fine to large sized white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing and a carbonated straw yellow colored body. The aroma was a very nice very of the standard malt hop nose. Its mouthfeel was smooth and mildly crisp. The flavor contained elements of malt, hops, wheat and barley. hayden1215 (305), Ohio, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 12/20 | Sep 6, 2003 Lasting white head over a golden body. Aromas are of grainy malt and a light corn, but I'm hoping it's the use of corn instead of DMS; Also a light hop aroma, otherwise it's got a pretty clean overall aroma as a pre prohibition pilsner should. Very well balanced but has a little hop flavor toward the finish; starts out slightly malty but quickly turns dry but not bitter. Ther is a little hop flavor in the aftertaste along with the same corn flavor, but it's very subtle, yet noticeable. Higher carbonation and slightly heavier than light m/f add to the enjoyment. This is very much more flavorful than your typical American style pilsner and I think they've done a pretty good job with a somewhat defunct style. Thankfully some breweries haven't forgotten how American Pilsners should be made. For what it's worth, this is a very good beer. Not a lot of complexity, but very drinkable in most circumstances.
