Commercial Description:
After researching brewing styles from the turn of the last century, Capital has created an outstanding, mild, American-style beer. This pilsner beer comes from an old Wisconsin recipe, circa 1900, and has a smoothness that the big beer companies will envy.

I dunno, just didn't care much for this brew, bland and boring. Notes for german hops and malts, smooth taste, bitter aftertaste. Very thin mouthfeel and metallic feel.

Out of the bottle--Yellowy-gold with a smallish head. Aroma isn't strong but kind of sweet. Initial pleasant maltiness with a short hoppy followup. No real lingering taste, very smooth finish. Mouthfeel is fuller than I expected; almost creamy. A very nice brew, especially on a hot day.

Nice clear yellow in color with lots of bubbles flowing within, has a one finger high head of bright white puffy foam with some big bubbles located on top, gets light stringy lace. Smell is sweet malts, very crisp and fresh, floral and grassy-like hops finish it off with a light toastyness. Taste is sweet, a touch of sharpness, subdued malts but still quite sweet, fresh, with a decent hop bitterness that shows a light floral quality with a bit of grass and spice. Feel is pretty full, smooth and lingering creamyness and a solid airy dryness into the finish. Quite drinkable for sure, easy going and pleasing.

Mild malt nose, pale yellow, small golden white head. Good clean malt taste, some bitterness follows. Crisp, light, easy drinking. Almost like a Kolsch.

Quickly diminishing head. Fairly light golden in color. Lots of carbonation. Toasty malts and some mild hops aroma. Fairly sweet flavor, almost fruity. Not bad, I'd have it again if I saw it on tap someplace.

A nice American standard, edges Leinie Org.Attractive golden, nice natural head with laciness, subdued malt aroma, good mouthfeel, clean slightly hoppy finish. Sure beats macro but why pay Capital prices for a standard?

As pale American lagers go, this is better than most. No off-tastes, a fine yellow color with just a slight haze. Noticeable malt presence is balanced by a just-detectable fruity hop presence.

Very drinkable with an appreciable hop presence. Good malt tones, but metallic flavors are abundant. Slightly sweet, but finished dry.
