| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jan 25, 2007 Updated: Apr 15, 2007Aroma is a mix of grain and cereal malt as well as yeast and corn. I detect a very pleasant sweetness in the aroma but cannot put my finger on what it is coming from.
The head pours small, creamy, and white. It is mostly diminishing. The body is clear and slightly hazy. The body is a pleasant golden hue.
The initial flavor is slightly sweet and finishes with a cereal/grainy taste lasting average to long in duration.
It is medium bodied. The carbonation is lively. Texture is watery but not in a bad way. Sweet, satisfying, smooth finish. buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 6, 2006 Husk, grain, and a ton of malt which gives it a dull chalky mineral / metalic taste. Okay we get it-- our ancestors drank bad beer. Worst yet of capital I’ve tried. 11026 (1772), Alabama, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 24, 2006 Bottle from Santa, sampled some time ago. Clear pale golden colored with a small, fast fading white head. Aroma is a bit lackluster. Light sweet malt with just a hint of earthy hops. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. Pretty typical pale lager flavor for malt, a touch more hops than expected, moderately earthy. Fair. TerryR (383), Oswego, Illinois, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 16, 2006 Deep yellow color with a large white head. Bready, sweet malty aroma. Sweet malt continues in the flavor. Very little hops, disappointing in a pilsner. Smooth finish. Respectable, well made beer, but Capital makes much better - like the soon to be released Autmnal Fire. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 11, 2006 Large frothy white head that slipped instantly into a medium yellow brew below. Well carbonated, just doesn’t want to make a head.
Light sweet honey and grain aroma.
Mostly sweet with the hops making a brief appearance. Light bodied. Capital has a big line up of excellent beer, I would try one of the other ones if you only had one or two to try. But I’d take this over a Yuengling. Bockyhorsey (2554), Mesa, Arizona, USA
