Commercial Description:
After researching brewing styles from the turn of the last century, Capital has created an outstanding, mild, American-style beer. This pilsner beer comes from an old Wisconsin recipe, circa 1900, and has a smoothness that the big beer companies will envy.

Bottle: Amber color with a light brown tint and a small fizzy head. Aroma of bready malt and floral hops. Flavor is more of the aroma with the hops really coming through. Finish is mostly sweet malt and a hint of the hops. Wasn’t expecting much from this one but it’s actually pretty good.

Pours to a golden body with an instantly disapating white head. The aroma is sweet bread malts, some corn, light floral hops. Not offensive but not strong enough or unique enough. The flavor is similar to the inside of a crusty french bread. The finish has some floral hops to it once the sweetness goes away. There’s also some lemon juice. VERY INOFFENSIVE. Nothing special, however. I’d recommend this to those who like Macro beers because of its ease of drinkability. The malts and hops blend very well. Nothing is strong, but they blend so nicely. I’m on board with Dave on this one. So nicely made.

Very pale golden body with a wispy white head. Desert bread aroma with a slight dandelion stem twist. Overall the flavor exhibits a bready sweetness. Some delicate hops come ou of hiding in the finish flashing their grassy, floral notes. Smooth, round mouthfeel. I jacked up the overall to give this stuff a 3.1 because for having such delicate flavors nothing bad stands out. A well-made lager.

It’s an okay Pilsener, good warm weather fare, but nothing special. Thick and golden with lively carbonation and a bubbly white head, this... Wait. The head and carbonation are gone. Anyway, this has a sweet malt aroma, the hops not really being present in the nose. Smooth to drink, it’s continues with the sweet malt in the flavor and adds a drop of lemon juice. The hops finally emerge in the finish, lightly floral and herbal. Okay, but not worth the six-pack price.

Its a pretty brew, but the aroma was simple malt the taste was a sugary sweetness with a ponderous mouthfeel. Too sweet and thick for me

I like this there capital brewery, if i went to u w, i would drink lots of this. Amber color with blonde highlights. got some kitchen cleaning fruit aroma thing going on. Decind mild malts in the body, it seems solid, then fades, then catches back up, then is gone. I could drink lots of these while watching the packers.

Light and crisp taste and aroma. Taste sours as it sits in your mouth. Notes of corn, lemon, honey, and acidity. Body isn’t heavy by any means, but it has a little thickness to chew through. An upfront combination of sweetness and bitterness, balanced well againt each other.

Pours a clear straw color with thin head and some lacing. Nice grainy nose and flavor with balaced soft bitterness. Not bad. Brewed to syle.
