Pours a dark wine red with a small diminishing off-white head. Aroma is malt and cherries, apples and nuts. Flavor is malt, with a little alcohol, nuts, and more fruit. Malt dominates the palate with a hoppy/boozy finish. A great "autumn" beer!

Bright red with streaks and light orange streaks and a thin, off-white head. The aroma is strongly malty and quite sweet. Sticky caramel, light raisin, toasted grains and a touch of chocolate. The body is slick and full. The flavor is mostly sweet with the sticky caramel and ripe fruit taking control at the beginning. Toward the finish a moderately crisp hop bite comes through to make things interesting. Another solid, tasty beer from Capitol. Nothing that blows my mind, but something that is easy to drink and perfect for the season.

Bottle pours copperish amber, small fizzly off-white head, lively carbonation, with fairly slick lacing.   Molasses, raisins, minor vanilla notes, as well as alcohol on the nose.   Figs/dates, slightly sweet, caramel, brown sugar, and light alcohol in the flavor.   Good body, moderate mouthfeel.   Finishes very clean, slightly malty, sweet, with a bit of grains.   This is a damn fine Autumn treat!   Thanks goes out to footbalm for the trade!

Small tan head, fair retention and very little lace. Beautimous, clear amber/red hued brew that glows when held up to the light. Big malt nose, caramelly, candyish. Medium body, lightly coating with a pleasent grainy texture. Bready malt flavors, black licorice, chocolate and hints of alcohol as it warms. A light spiceyness shows up in the medium dry finish. Apples and spice and the color of falling leaves. This is hands down one of the best named beers out there. It reflects the season and mood. And the beer delivers. Smooth and rich with great spiciness. Just the right amount of alcohol hidden in a blanket of caramel malt. Not quite complex enough for a "brandy snifter" but big enough to make this memorable.

Clear mahogany w/white head. Carmel, malt nose with hints of cherry. Med-heavey mouthfeel w/malty finish. Creamy cramel, toffee, cherry, w/ slight bitter malt finish. Awesome fall session beer!

Deep amber with thin beige head. Nutty aroma with some caramel and cooked veggies. Flavors: big mouthfeel! Milk chocolate lingering bitterness on palette. In a side by side tasting of oktoberfests, this does not stand out.

Very dark copper coloring, almost brown. Small, slightly yellow head. Aroma of malt, caramel and a little bit of leaves. The taste is sweet with caramel apples and some background of molasses. Almost too sweet. Light and playful on the palate. A sweet change of pace. A real nice fall brew.
