Commercial Description:
While being a mild pilsner style beer, Bavarian Lager is our version of a clasic German "Helles" style of beer from Bavaria. Bavarian Lager is pale golden colored with a nice hop character over-laying mellow malt flavor.

Golden amber, minimal soapy/ringy white head. Light sweet buttery malt aroma... nothing interesting. Kind of the same with the flavor. Light grainy and caramelly malt with light pilsenery hops. Almost has butterscotchy hints to it. Smooth and crisp.

Light amber body. Granola and grainy carmel malt in the aroma. Leafy hops in the background. The hops are more pronounced in the flavor, I’d say they take a front seat to the toasted caramel malt taste. Effervescent noble hops.

Bottle-A yellow color with a very small white head that faded quickly. Smells of malty hay and just a tiny hint of grass. The hops don’t stand out that much to me. Tastes lightly sweet, malty, just a hint of honey with a grass-hoppy aftertaste, again not too strong. Texture is almost creamy. I like the way it feels.

Very clear, lively golden color, medium firm head, fading. Nice spicy aroma! Layers of buttered malts underneath those hops. Dammit, that’s a nice smooth lager, well built sophisticated hop flavors. Malts come through much cleaner across the palate than in the nose, finish is balanced. Could use more bubbles. I could make a real habit of this one!

Thanks to Duane for this. Gold pour with minimal head. Aroma of malt, hopcit, honey. Tastes malty, with some hopcit, honey, and a grassy finish. Not bad. Decent complexity for a lager.
