Commercial Description:
While being a mild pilsner style beer, Bavarian Lager is our version of a clasic German "Helles" style of beer from Bavaria. Bavarian Lager is pale golden colored with a nice hop character over-laying mellow malt flavor.

Light Copper Coloring. No Head. Some Hops Aroma. Bitter. Hops. Little Watery...Not My Favorite Capital Offering.

This is not their best effort, but fills a niche. Can’t believe the previous post that compared it to Miller (there’s no corn in this beer) ..but note where that comment came from - rice beer land! Pours a thick rocky yellow-white head that disappears to a thin rind. Slight malt aroma. Yellow orange color. Tastes of fresh bread with a distinct hop bite. Hint of German hops. Lower hopping rate would make it truer to style, but overall is close to what you’d get in Bavaria. Esp. if you have it in their biergarten in Middleton.

For a Bavarian Lager, this was a da*n good beer! Well balanced and I love the hop choice. Great beer for a hot summer day on the deck.

Bottle pours a darker amber color with a decent head, some lace. The aroma is malt and mild hops. The flavor is slighty sour and fruity, mild hops, and nicly malty. The palate is pretty rich and fizzy, sort of cleansing and refreshing. Overall, not a bad Lager!

Bright amber color with a solid head. Aroma and taste have solid malt traces. I agree with other raters that nothing quite stands out, but it was very nicely balanced. So much so that nothing screams out. It does have flavor, just not overwhelming amounts of it.

intense bubble gum aroma, very clean golden hue, malty with lots of bubblegum and noticeable hop crispness

Golden orange, with a small, white head. Nice smell, though not exceptional. Slightly above average taste, with nothing jumping out on my taste buds. Mouthfeel: strong start, weak finish. Overall, kind of an average beer. Nothing stands out as being great, but nothing's bad either.
