Feb 21, 2009 Pour is a clear yellow with a large white head. Aroma is sweet malt with some grain and some crisp hop. Flavor is biscuity malts with some grain and a smallish hop profile. A decent enough lager style beer and something you could drink lots of.

Nov 30, 2008 Bottle. Pors a deep orange golden with a thin lacing off-white head. Rich sweet aroma with some fruity notes. Rich and malty. Toasty malts dominate with a sweet body and noticeable hop presence. Medium bodied, crisp witha nice carb bite. Nice dortmunder.

Oct 30, 2008 Updated: Mar 9, 2009Aroma is like rising sweet dough, comes out at me before I even pour. Pours a clear light amber, significant but rapidly fading white head leaves some spotty lace. Floral hops with just a little bite, some apple, malts far more subdued in the mouth than on the nose. Clean finish. Very light bodied but crisp on the palate.

Sep 3, 2008 Poured from the bottle into a pint glass. Pour produced a hazy honey colored body with a small white head which diminished quickly. Light bodied with moderate sweetness and little else. Palate has some honey notes with a wisp of hops with little to no aftertaste. Not a beer to be enjoyed ice cold. This beer’s flavor and aroma improves as it warms. Throughout the tasting, I noticed that this lager goes down quite smoothly and does not offend in the least.

Aug 31, 2008 Honey gold color with a white soapy head. Very little visible carbonation. Malt dominated aroma with a hint of floral hop and some honey. Flavor is same as the aroma with a tad of spice. Light toffee. The hop provides just a bit of life to the feel that grows as the beer warms.
