| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 14, 2006 From a 12 oz. twist off bottle with a freshness date on the shoulder of bottle, served in Capital pilsener glass.
Poured a clear reddish-orangey golden with a foamy white head, small amount of sticking.
Good nose, bready, herbal and spicy, and a light lemon fruitiness.
Good, even, steady carbonation and a malty crisp, smooth medium bodied mouthfeel.
Good, pleasant Helles taste, bready with hints of caramel, earthy, peppery and herbal hops, a light lemon with bare traces of banana and a nice malty finish.
Another good German style lager from Capital, very quaffable, an easy drinker.

Aroma of fruit, sweet malts, and slight hops to the nose. The flavor is bitter, slightly sweet, and fruit in the finish. Ok beer. Bockyhorsey (2541), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 9, 2006 12 oz. Bottle. Yeasty bread and malt aroma. Yellow body with white head. Flavor has a good mix of malts and hops and not as bitter as some of these can be. Good refreshing beer on a 100 degree day in AZ. SpringsLicker (2043), Tennessee, USA

Clear deep yellow under a tall white head.
Mild malt aroma with just the slightest hops.
The flavor is lightly sweet at the start then a little bit of the hops kick in and provide some bitterness. garmonbozia (229), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 27, 2006 Bottle from Brigader: Pours a nice clear orange color with a nice white head. Very low carbination in the beer, which I think is nice. Smell of of malts. A very sweet taste, also I tasted bread. Very nice lager. Ughsmash (4035), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 16, 2006 Bottled. Poured a clear, brighter golden with a creamy initial cap of white head... settled down to a splotchy pool after a couple minutes. Nose picked up sweet pale malts, a hint of honey, sourdough bread, and some herbal hoppage... very pleasant. The flavor didn’t skip a beat... with a sweet, bready malt base (honey & bread), herbal, grassy, and lemony hops. Lighter-bodied throughout, but full of flavor. Finish was sweet and dry with a lemon twist. Good stuff!.. especially with it being 95 out. beenjammin (3), Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA does not count | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 11, 2006 I agree with Kevin! This is a wonderful lager- crystal clear like the mass-markets, but with a much more robust flavor and aroma.
