Amber Coloring. Very smooth and easy to drink given the alcohol rating. Definitly worth trying.

Thanks to hey_kevin for a taste of this very good Capital. Pours a light red color with very little head. A sweet caramel and vanilla aroma and flavor. Has a unique burnt, ashy, peachy finish. However, this finish is very mild and provides a nice contrast from the sweet beginning.

Clear amber body with a thin bubbly white head. The aroma has light apricot and grape along with biscuity sweetness. The flavor is quite strong. Starts with loads of caramel, brown sugar, the aformentioned Belgian yeast, and nutmeg spice. Alcohol (and not much else) is evident in the finish. Meh.

A sweet, floral aroma with a malty and somewhat fruity taste. Pretty good.

Very clear beer. Light orange in color, pours effervescent but does not carry a head. Yeasty aroma. Flavor profile reminded me of Samiclaus. Sweet and sticky.

Someone suggested this beer to me yesterday and said it was the best he'd ever had. I do like it, but wouldn't quite say that. It is tasty, just a bit sweeter than I'd prefer. I'd call it a good after dinner (desert) beer, similar to Trois Pistoles for example, but not quite as strong. Found it for $10/6-pack. Be careful -- a very high alch. content.

This was almost as good as Capital Maibock. The aroma, appearance, and the taste were all similar, but this was just a bit maltier in taste. Really good, but the Maibock may be a bit better.

A beautiful crystal clear amber with a medium off white head. Floral aroma with honey, toasted bread, citrus, and pepper. Medium slightly creamy body with lively carbonation. Sweet, surprisingly complex, malty flavor with lots of toffee, pear, pepper, ginger, red apple, and raisin with hints of grass and alcohol. Very good.
