Malt is much more assertive in the flavour - a slightly sticky, chewy caramelized pale malt like the beer had a four hour boil. Slight alcohol note in the sweet, chewy finish. argo0 (6890), Washington DC, USA

Sweet honey, caramel malt, some toffeeish sweetness and some breadiness as well. Flavour is very sweet and malty, but not cloying. Honey flavour and slightly vineous. A touch of biscuity flavour before the smooth clean noble hop finish, creamy texture. Nice complexity. Cornfield (4928), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA

Golden-orange in color with a creamy white head, this has an aroma of toffee and butterscotch and flowers. Well-carbonated-but-creamy in the mouth, this has some amazing, sweet malt flavors. Blended in is a spicy "pepperishness" as well as some clean, bitter hopping. Nice malt and bitter finish. Good doppelbock.
