| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 21, 2009 Pour is an orange with a average white head. Aroma is of doughy sweet malts with some fruity esters. Flavor is again sweet malts with some yeast. I can’t give this a better score as the sweetness kind of gets more cloying the more you drink it. Still it has some qualities just not something i would probably get again. thornecb (1801), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 18, 2005 Bottle from Styles. Pours a deep copper-orangish color with a good sized white head. The head fades out to just layer the surface and leaves good lacing. Aroma is nicely hopped with spicey earthy hop notes. Flavor is very clean with subtle caramel sweetness and a generous dosing of hop bitterness which tends to be peppery. Quite nice. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 14, 2008 Bottle from Ryan. Pours out a yellowish - orange color with a nice white head on it. Smell is malty, fruity, has some alcohol in it. Smells alot like their other doppelbock, just not dark colored. Taste is smooth and rich, with no alcohol detected. Easy drinking and sweet. Paired pretty good with steak. I would drink it again, it seemingly disappeared... sloth (1678), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA
