Alcohol is well concealed. Would have again. Would taste good with red meat. BVery (669), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA

Warm, a bit spicy, malty and fruity. dark straw body, well carbonated. dry caramel, toasty grains and toffee. sweeter as it warms. well balanced and well hidden alcohol...at first buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 15, 2006 Pours a medium amber with a small white head. I did not detect much malts in the aroma but in the flavor it was there. Malty, sort of sweet, with a crisp finish. Pretty good beer. darn1207 (666), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 10, 2009 12oz bottle from some random grocery store in asheville north carolina. clear amber pour with a thin to medium white head a ring that sticks around. sweet candy apricot and dark fruit aroma. good slick thin to medium syrupy texture and little carbonation. taste seems on the mild side and complicated at the same time. get hints of sour, bread, honey, vegetables and dark fruits.... seems like a strange combination - but everything is tasty enough. wouldn’t drink a sixer. interesting though.
