Light amber, small creamy head. Slightly sweet with some bubble gum yeast and malt. One of the weaker Doppels I had.

Sampled on 3/17/2009. This dopplebock pours a medium orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of bubblegum, banana and apricot. A medium to full bodied dopplebock. The malts are fruity and sweet, some banana and apricot. The hops are herbal and earthy. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Very nice sweet malts flavors, a little bit of banana. Mouthfeel is very full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

Bottle. Pours a light amber golden body with a thin off white head. Aroma is purely malt and a sweet scent. Flavor is sweet with a light spiciness, then malt all over. No real hops and a light warming from the etoh.

This brew pours a small head of fine white bubbles and a transparent light orange brown body. It had a mild malt aroma. This brew had a smooth initial flavor and no fore or after bite. I did not understand this brew and I would definately not call it a Doppelbock.

Wow, very nice. Moving from Celbrator to this was a color shock. Amber color, medium head. Very sweet and just generally pleasant. I could not believe the ABV when I saw it, I would have recommended this as a great session beer!

Bottle poured a clear amber with a small lingering off white head. Aromas of carmel, honey, biscuits and a hint of spice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, honey, light fruittiness and a hint of spice with a smooth sweet finish.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with an average, fizzy off-white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel), light hop (grass), average yeast (leaves, earth) with notes of plum and dates. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and an astringent finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

Pours a translucent golden orange wtih a small white head. Aroma is sweet orange. Flavor is malty with some citrus. Overall aroma and flavor is hard to describe. But a decent beer overall.
