Light amber with slowly diminishing white head that laces well. Apples, caramel, bread, spice, cinnamon. Malty sweet, bready and smooth. Alcohol a little noticeable. Another nice doppel from Capital.

From stem glass. My first trek into a style I’ve wanted try. Pours a deep translucent orange with a creamy head, and just a bit of lacing. Has strong malt/caramel aroma, along with lemongrass. Very thick and smooth beer, with strong flavors of malt, cane sugar sweetnes, and just a touch of bitterness, perhaps not enough. Finishes very clean, just a little hint of bitter aftertaste. Overall, very nice--makes me want to try Autumnal Fire.

Yellow, with a thin ring of foam. Bready, toasty, malty aroma. Nice rich malt profile, with a lot of bready, toasty flavors segueing into a crisp hop finish. Really tasty and satisfying.

Pretty orange color with a medium, creamy off-white head. The aroma and flavor were very sweet...bubblegum, bread, apricot, and alcohol. Medium thick consistency...long wet finish.

Bottle from Ryan. Pours out a yellowish - orange color with a nice white head on it. Smell is malty, fruity, has some alcohol in it. Smells alot like their other doppelbock, just not dark colored. Taste is smooth and rich, with no alcohol detected. Easy drinking and sweet. Paired pretty good with steak. I would drink it again, it seemingly disappeared...

A beautiful crystal clear amber with a medium off white head. Floral aroma with honey, toasted bread, citrus, and pepper. Medium slightly creamy body with lively carbonation. Sweet, surprisingly complex, malty flavor with lots of toffee, pear, pepper, ginger, red apple, and raisin with hints of grass and alcohol. Very good.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with an average, fizzy off-white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel), light hop (grass), average yeast (leaves, earth) with notes of plum and dates. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and an astringent finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

got this in a trade and I cannot find my trading papers so thanks to the one that sent this. poured a golden with a small white head that didn’t last long. aroma sweet orange, malt, some alcohol. flavor got caramel, malts, the orange, a hint of honey with a slight amount of alcohol. not to bad. But I was a little surprised to see a dopplebock this light in color.
