Pours a deep translucent orange with a creamy head, and just a bit of lacing. Has strong malt/caramel aroma, along with lemongrass. Very thick and smooth beer, with strong flavors of malt, cane sugar sweetnes, and just a touch of bitterness, perhaps not enough. Finishes very clean, just a little hint of bitter aftertaste. Overall, very nice--makes me want to try Autumnal Fire. Suttree (2734), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 14, 2008 Bottle from Ryan. Pours out a yellowish - orange color with a nice white head on it. Smell is malty, fruity, has some alcohol in it. Smells alot like their other doppelbock, just not dark colored. Taste is smooth and rich, with no alcohol detected. Easy drinking and sweet. Paired pretty good with steak. I would drink it again, it seemingly disappeared... Nexxus (261), Apple Valley, Minnesota, USA
