on tap at maproom. pours reddish brown with off whit ehead. nose of dark fruit and malty. flavors are dark fruit with mild chocolate notes. sweet dark fruit flavor that is rather pedestrian. decent but autumnal fire is way better than this.

On tap at the maproom. Pours red brown with a beige head. Malty chocolate nose with nothing special, a touch of frut. Creamy smooth milk chocolate flavors with a touch of roast and a lot of residual sweetness. This becomes sweeter and sweeter and tougher to drink a small pour. In dire need of some roast or bitterness to cut through this chocolate milk beer.

Chestnut brown with ruby tints. Maldy, moderately sweet by its aroma, then lots of caramel and vanilla in the flavor. A bit hot from the alcohol but really good flavor. Thanks Skyview!

Thanks to Skyview for sharing this rare beer. Not as great as I hoped, Autumnal Fire is better most years. A little sweet. Caramel malt. Brown color and almost no carbonation. Easily recognizable as a bock.

[Growler] shared at Skyview’s Lex/Larp Cellars Farewell. Pours a clear brown with a scant tan head. Aroma is caramel and not much else. Flavor is caramel and a little oxidation.

Growler courtesy of Skyview. Very dark red color with no head. Caramel aroma. More caramel flavor, lightly roasted malts. A bit of a soy sauce character, but not in an incredibly detrimental way.

On tap. Brown pour with a nice light tan head. Aroma of toffee, malt, brown sugar, and raisins. Tastes is blended well with a subtle roasted character. Dang tasty.

Only on tap..? I thought I saw this in bottles the other day. Maybe not.. Anyway, I had this big hearty beer on tap at the Malt House in Madison. Pours a dark dark brown colour with a fairly large tan head. Aroma is slightly raisiny, dates and fig on the nose. Subtle oak, caramel and toast on the palate. Taste is rather flavourful actually. Firm and astringent, but super smooth. Creamy with noticeable alcohol notes throughout. nice beer!
