Capital is hyped quite a bit in my area yet this is the first beer I’ve had from them. Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Nice amount of thick white head about a half inch high. Golden straw color with moderate cloudiness. The smell of this beer was very inviting. A light yeasty/wheat fragrance with a bit of citrus. I really enjoy the taste of this beer. I’m a fan of wheat beers in general. It’s very smooth and has such a pleasant flavor. There’s a hint of fruit with a nice malty backend. This beer dances nicley on your tongue then washes down easy. Overall a nice session beer for my taste. I will be picking up more of these.

Pours a cloudy golden with a medium off-white head. Aroma is fruity with wheat and yeast. Very light with flavors including fruits, banana, lemon, and citrus, more wheat and yeast, and light hints of honey and spices. Rather mediocre.

Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a creamy 1 finger head that has decent retention. Aroma is wheat, raw yeast, lots of tart fruity notes, green tree bark, copper and a little lemon; almost smells infected. Flavor is lots of wheat throughout, a little toasted grain, sourdough, spicy yeast and some citrus, doesn’t taste infected at all, weird. Palate is thin highly carbonated and slightly chalky-dry, after the odd fizzy, slick entry that is. This is a strange wheat ale. Good, I suppose, for the style, once you get past the strange aroma.

12 oz bottle. Hazy, pale gold pour with a lingering 2-finger snow white head. Aroma is fresh baked bread, yeast. Flavor is wheat malt adequately bittered. Slight sweetness over the tongue, dry acidic finish. Good lawnmower beer.

On tap. Pours a cloudy, golden yellow color with a thick layer of fizzy white foam. Clean, creamy wheat aroms with a hint of herbal hops. Moderately hoppy aroma for a wheat beer, but it has a pleasant underlying sweetness. Light bodied, heavily carbonated mouthfeel with a brisk, prickling acidity. Clean wheat flavors with an herbal hop bitterness to round out the finish. Very subtle fruity yeast esters, but what’s there works well with a soft, almost vanilla-like sweetness of the malt. Moderately hoppy, but the freshness of the hops adds nicely to the refreshing drinkability of this brew.

Nice solid wheat. Pour is cloudy yellow with thin white head. Aroma is lemon, wheat, yeast. Flavor is crisp and true to nose. Delivers what it promises.

Bottle, 6. fl. oz. Pours an unclear, pale beer with a white head. The aroma is wheat, and the aroma follows the nose, with a little acidity. The palate is thin, and overall this wheatbeer is below average.
