Jun 13, 2008 I liked this beer from the start. Nice aroma, slightly cloudy appearance, good flavor and end notes. Great on a hot summer day.

May 26, 2008 Pretty standard wheat. Easy drinker with none of the funky bubblegum/banana yeast character you get with some wheats. Pours a cloudy yellow with a decent head. Nice and crisp, not cloying.

Apr 26, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy pale straw color with a fluffy white head. Aroma is earthy, dominated by grains and malt with some lighter hints of hoppy citrus and spices. Taste is medium-to-heavy-bodied, with a truly unique taste that mixes strong earthy flavors of grain with fruitier flavors of citrusy hops, coriander, and a bit of vanilla. Marvelously done.

Apr 24, 2008 Great tasting, and to say it is wheaty would be an understandment. Pours a cloudy golden colour with a large white top. Pleasent aroma, lots of vibrant fruit character- licorice, pear and lemon. Mediumbodied, taste is semi sweet, astringent and delightful all the way through.

Apr 12, 2008 Bottle pours a very hazed straw color with a decent clingy head. The aroma is very faint wheat and almost a bit sour. There is not much in the way of standard Hefe aroma - more farmhouse like. The flavor is quite dry for the style, slightly clove like, kind of dusty, perhaps a bit bland. This really has a bit of a Belgian thing going on - no, not a very clear thought, but it is less Hefe than it is Belgian. Better as it warms - there are now some banana esters showing through. The palate is refreshing (in its own way). This one is decent, but not quite good. I’d have it again.

Apr 11, 2008 Capital night at Three Cellars Milwaukee.
Easily among the best wheat’s beers I have tried. Its carbonation to point of an almost champagne feel is surprising at first. But once you get used to it the beer is a nice easy drinker. With an almost festive feel. Slight hints of lemon and vanilla.
