Crash (431), Macomb, Illinois, USA Sep 11, 2006 Pour a hazy light brown with good head and some lacing. Aroma was a mixture of things and I really didn’t pick anything out. Taste was much better than most wheat beers I’ve had.
ChristianScheffel (2216), Odense, Denmark Oct 10, 2008 Cloudy yellow with a small white head. Weak bread crust aroma. Thin and sweet grainy malt flavour. Amazingly boring beer... CaryTheDude (282), Ripon, Wisconsin, USA Oct 8, 2008 Yeah, wheat ales are just boring, aight? It looks like hazy pee...so maybe a gonorrhea piss? Sourness is the only thing I can really place here, and some wheat of course. noncaloric (111), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Oct 7, 2008 Aroma: Faint, sour in an unpleasant way. Appearance: Hazy blond pour, voluminous white head, abundant lace. Flavor: Intensely wheaty, dusty, tart. The acidity is more sour milk than lemon. The beer isn’t altogether unpleasant, but there’s an edge in it that evokes eating wheaties after the milk has turned. Palate: Lively carbonation, dusty, dry, puckering. mcjay (78), Neenah, Wisconsin, USA Oct 6, 2008 Hazy yellow color with a foamy but thin white head and decent carbonation. Grainy aroma with a smooth taste that is slightly pale and has a hint of zest. Crisp and flavorful, this is a nice wheat ale. Strykzone (1011), Wood River, Illinois, USA Sep 7, 2008 Cloudy yellow with a noisy white soapy head that lasts a very short time. Nose is yeast with some faint lemon. Nice zest in the mouth although it is thin. Somewhat tart taste with wheat, lemon and some honey. Very crisp and acidic.
