Another good beer from Capital Brewery, this one features the warm banana flavor you’d expect from a hefeweizen. The spicy flavor is immediately evident from the aroma, and leaves a warm feeling in your mouth after the initial sip. A solid choice for a chilly fall or spring evening, right as the sun is setting.

Pours slightly cloudy with dense and smooth head that disappears quickly. Aroma is lightly fruity, definitely banana and citrus. The flavor is extremely well balanced and delicate, very refreshing even as it’s coolness goes away. This beer feels tight and crisp in your mouth. Very nice overall.

Smell is slightly fruity, a banana - lemon mix. Head is very tight (dense), disappears quickly. Very little to no lacing. Honey colored and semi hazy. Taste has a hint of bananas, lemons, and, perhaps, cloves. A bit spicy, but very drinkable. Would like to try another style by this brewer.

Kind of like this one. Yery mild. Has a kind of citris and a banana flaver.

Golden color with a medium white head. Not very cloudy. Aroma of bubblegum and a very slight hint of a spice. Flavor of bubblegum, paper and medicine. Which probably makes it sound worse than it actually tasted. Light to medium palate with a metallic finish.

A beauty of a beer. Smooth cloudiness, banana-orange coloring. Smells wonderful - ripe bananas, cloves, pepper and orange peel. Refreshing and well-rounded taste. Bananas come through again and are met with a vanilla essence. There’s a lemon sweetness to the finish. Another job well done by the expert German-style brewers at Capital Brewery.

Pours cloudy yellow. Crisp, refreshing banana and lemon nose. Flavor is the same with banana predominating and some kind of nutmeg or ginger or something. There are citrus overtones that remind me of Belgian whites. Clean finish. Best hefe I’ve had.

Light pale yellow hazy beer with little or no head. Light banana but mainly nuetral nose. Light mouthfeel with inital sweetness that gives way to a delicate sour quality. Banana candy, light spice, and citrus are the dominant flavors. Not bad.
