Commercial Description:
A unique beer, Kloster Weizen is a true Bavarian style Weizen beer. Intentionally cloudy (hefe weizen) in appearance, this beer has a "spicy" flavor and is very refreshing. It is popular to add a slice of lemon to a glass of this beer.

clean and crisp taste. When it comes to wheat beer, I still like most of the german beers better however like all of Capital Brewery’s offerings, this is smooth and easy to drink.

Nice wheat beer. Very big on the banana and clove esters. On tap at the Capital brewery tap room. A beer that wheat beer drinkers would love. I am not a huge fan of wheat beers, but will rate according to style.

Pours lively, lots of swirling bubbles in an opaque, pallid yellow. Aroma of lemons, fresh and vibrant with pronounced hops. Distinct hoppy flavor with a pinch of vanilla for good measure, very nice! Somewhat bitter finish, closes nicely. Overall a good experience, sticks with the bavarian brewing tradition but adds a typically Capital touch.

(Bottle) Pours a lightly cloudy golden body with a descent-sized white head. Aroma of whole grain cereal and bananas. Similar flavor. Very tasty!

Very good. It tastes great, good head, but dies fast. smooth and refreshing hoppy flavor. Golden amber color and a bit cloudy, recommended beer for those who like a smooth taste.

Color: bright yellow, hazy way up at the top, clear the rest of the way down. Small, quickly diminishing white head. Lemony nose, sweet,n,sour, bold citrus hops. Hops continue with a pronounced impact upon the palate, smooth, tasty, thirst-quenching. Close to the Bavarian style, but not quite. Malt is felt more in the flavor than I’d expect...on the sweet side...light body, nice texture, good taste, and downable, indeed. A good hefe, will do in a pinch...

Really lacks head that detracts a lot from the wheat experience. Straw yellow, very slightly cloudy, nice spicy and citrus (grapefruit) aroma. Taste is true wheat, clove and slight banana. Some bitterness makes this a little off style but very drinkable - like all of Capital’s breers.
