| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 26, 2008 Bottle. Poured a a deep golden color with a thin white head that quickly dissipated. Light grain aroma. Strong taste of grassy bittering hops reminiscent of a "Jever" style Pilsner. Not a ton of complex flavors but a nice beer to ring in the spring. Good alternative to the heavy dark beers we Wisconsinites drink to get us through the winter. madcow75 (425), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 7, 2008 Aroma is very natural, almost grassy. Aroma is strange, corn mixed with sugar. Flavor is sugary mixed with light hops and grass. Odd Maibock really. Okay, not bad, but nothing great. Another capital that i’m not completely happy with but can’t complain too much.
