Poured a medium and slightly hazy orange color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of biscuit, caramel, honey, and lightly fruity. Tastes of biscuit, caramel, same light fruitiness and a touch of spices. Skyview (4076), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA

Straight from the bottle, it pours a dark caramel color with an off-white head. Aroma of a typical late bock with hints of toasted honey and dried apricots. Taste pretty much the same as aroma but more hop presense and a dry fruity finish. A very nice Maibock. BeerBelcher (945), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 31, 2007 I got dragged to a martini bar that clearly did not give a wit about beer, but they had this on tap. I was underwhelmed by the beer, but that might be because of the place (dirty glass).
It poured a light dull brown in a pub glass with large dirty looking bubbles. Smell was lightly malty. Flavor was a bit of caramel, but generally very mild and bland. Mouthfeel was fine, but I can’t say I feel moved to strongly recommend this beer. buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA

Almost a spicy cooked vegetable type smell. Flavor is of malts, vegetable, spice. Gets maltier as it warms. Strange but interesting. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 18, 2007 Clear glowing orange in color. Aromas of smoked cheddar and vinegar barbecue chips. Too sweet and too strange: touches of steak sauce, lemon and metals are most evident in the taste. Somehow accomplishes both abrasive saltiness and impish sweetness. Poured it. holdenn (1444), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Malty aroma carmel, floral, light but decent. Cookie, malt, biscuit, honey, a little sweet but very drinkable, with a hint of floral hops and dry finish. I get a little sick of it as I go on. Not as good as their others but a session beer at the least. JorisPPattyn (5192), Antwerpen, Belgium
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 16, 2007 Big-bubbled orange-golden beer with a small, off-white head. Rather alcoholic nose, and a bit grassy. Alcohol-drenched pale malts. Actually, this is only marginally nicer than a malt liquor. Taste is better, however again, alcohol-characterized. Toasted & cookie malts, again a bit grassy. Some addition of corn? Warming up, I seem to get something as dry-spiced honey. Slick MF, alcohol warming, ethanol feel. Human sweat in the aftertaste. Leaves to be desired. This is as much a malt liquor than as a Bock. Someone from Weihenstephan ought to look into this one. Danke, DavidA. Not a good sign. No head when poured into the glass, but a nice dark golden color. Taste was a little on the bitter side, and not at all malty enough for my taste.
