There’s a good maltiness here, but also a nice snootful of German hops that doesn’t appear in most "authentic" Oktos. Well-tuned to the american craft beer drinker. jewedekind (450), Middleton, Wisconsin, USA

Big sweet malt and nice hop aroma. Really well crafted for massive consumption of excellent beer. Finish of toffee and caramel. Stronger than it seems. AustinMilbarge (681), Denver, Colorado, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 24, 2003 For an Oktoberfest beer, this looks perfect. Pumpkin orange colored with a nice frothy head. Initial malt sweetness with earthy pumpkin pie roasted fall flavors. Ends on a good note with just the right amount of spice to finish it off. Mouthfeel is a lingering draft like smoothness. One of the better Marzen styles I have had this year. Throw up the dub (W) and cheers to a good Wisconsin brewery.
