Apr 25, 2009 Golden orange to amber; hazy Smells clean and lager-like with detectable citrus. Tastes malty with some cramel, doughy bread, and a faint nuttines. A touch of bitterness but hardly a hop presence. Tastes strong and similar to Fat Tire. Has a creamy mouthfeel and sweet finish. Not bad.

Mar 20, 2009 Poured amber with a thin head. Roast malt and caramel aroma. Taste was nutty with grassy hops and toasted malt. Maybe a bit thin.

Jan 30, 2009 Thanks to Skyview for giving up a bottle of this. Copper color with a medium head. Dusty hop aroma with some raw grains. Lots of toasted malt, biscut and caramel flavors. Floral hop finish. Quite a nice surprise.

Dec 11, 2008 Golden copper color, slightly hazy with a thin white head. Flavor and aroma are grainy and slightly sour with a hint of toffee. Body is mildly sweet and malty.

Oct 20, 2008 Deep copper and toffee aroma. Light to medium golden color. Light body but still flavorful. Toffee flavors more to a light finish. Low hops. Not bad.

Oct 16, 2008 12oz bottle. poured a clear medium orange color. The head was soapy and off white. It reduced almost immediately to a thin film that hung around. The aroma wasn’t all that inviting. Hay and biscuits mostly with whiffs of wet stone and cooked vegetables. Light to medium bodied and dry. No significant bitterness. There was the faintest hint of toffee mixed with dishwater. Bleh.

Oct 15, 2008 12 oz bottle from Steve’s in WI. Pours a clear orange with a thin off-white and soapy head. Not much in the nose. A touch of malt. Spritzy carbonation and lackluster thin flavors. The malts taste a little old and stale. Touch of biscuit, and toffee, with a finish of faded hops that are lemony and remind me of lipton tea. Not so good.
