Commercial Description:
An authentic German style pilsner, this is Capital's largest selling beer. A superbly balanced beer, with a firm maltiness alongside hearty hop bittering and flavor notes.

Clear amber with a thin, white head. The nose is pretty malty and surprisingly not hoppy. Malty grains, a little grass, some nuts and some creamy caramel. The body is of average thickness. Some fruitiness comes in the flavor to compliment the grainy malts and caramel. Its really missing the pronounced, bitter hop kick that makes this style truly enjoyable.

12 oz bottle: hazed apricot. Patchy white cream. Honey glazed hay stalks and dry dusty peaches. . . well carbonated palate with bubble gum and white grapes. A slight sour bitterness in the finish. Not much in the way of flavours: no real hop presence and missing any crisp refreshing bite, but it would be easy drinking if that is what you are looking for on a hot summer day. . .

Fairly large, white head. Very few bubbles in this for a pilsner. A little darker than a standard macro. A little hops in the flavor. No Corn!! Still fairly light. I would take this over any BMC. A decent beer from a solid brewery.

Bottle pours a hazy amber yellow with minimal head and some lace. The aroma is malty, but no hops. The flavor is malty with a minor hop bitter balance and a smooth cleansing body. Overall, pretty average.

light golden color with a thin white head...weak malt aroma, tastes of light malt and bit sweet with a very slight bitter yet relatively smooth finish....not bad

Cloudy golden (like apple cider), small white head. Faint smell, but pleasant Nice, smooth, easy taste. Slightly bitter, contrasted with a hint of sweetness. I hate rating mouthfeel. If there's nothing really bad or really good about it, there's not much to say. This is a good beer, therefore drinkable.

Like it or not, this is definitely a pilsner. Aroma and Flavor of mild malt and hops. Not macro swill but could use a good kick in the pants.

Clear light amber with a huge, slowly diminishing frothy white head. Aroma of caramel, bread, herbs, pine, fig and plum. Light watery body with lively carbonation. Flavor of caramel, plum, fig, pepper, and bread. Very drinkable. Not bad, but nothing special.
