Appearance: Pours a gold body with a small, fleeting white head. Smell: Light pilsner maltiness. A bit of floral, a bit of spice. There’s some sulphur in the nose, with all the other parts of the scent coming together to bring my of a just opened can of salad shrimp. Taste: Pilsner malts with a slight sweetness. Sulphury sourness. Spicy hops bring a mild bitterness, not nearly enough to take your mind off that sour grain taste. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: I did not care for this one. It didn’t bring anything worthwhile to the table (special or otherwise).

Pours a slightly hazy light copper color with a white head. Aroma is grainy, pilsner malt, a hint of honey, and nice peppery spicy hops. Flavor is pilsner malts, grain, a hint of honey, and a bitter peppery hop finish.

Poured a cloudy, off-golden color true to style. A slight frothy head with little to no lace. Surprisingly though head stayed through the whole drink. The smell is noticeable, but not over powering. A strong grainy smell that is somewhat bready, in a cornbread way. Very German in flavor with a sweeter taste. A slight dry aftertaste which is followed by a bite at the end. A good German feel for the hops but the place second to the sweeter, stronger malt flavor. The aftertaste is more noticeable in the hops, with limited Saaz flavoring. The body is relatively medium. A good flavor overall.

gold in color and not cloudy. Light head. Smells of hops and barley, smooth and light to the palate. Has a taste that is a little light for a pilsner with a slighty bitter after taste that isn’t bad. Not my first choice for a pilsner.

Pale color with modest head. Decent pilsner overall. A little bitter going down but still refreshing.

Bottle sampled. Pours a pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma of roasted grain light hops and grass. Flavor is similar to the aroma and has a slightly bitter finish

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear golden color. Head was one finger high and white with decent retention. Aroma was of honey touched cereal grain and subdued noble hops. Dry on the tongue with mild to moderate hop bitterness of about 3-4 out of 10. There are modest flavors of noble hops and husky grain. Pretty decent pilsener.

Pours a deep straw color with thin bubbly head. Aroma of grass, light hops, and malt. Taste is the same with everything well balanced. It features good carbonation and is easy to drink. Has a nice citrus hop finish that makes it a win for me.
