This brew has a nice healthy kick to it. Not a chugging beer. I don’t consider it a great beer, but it is a nice diversion from the pale ales and IPAs that I normally drink. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 24, 2007 Picked up single bottle from Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul. Pours a light golden honey pale brew with a decent white head that dissolves quick to a fine film. Nice lacing on side. Aroma is light , fruity, roasted grain, a litle citrus, some biscuits and mild sweet hops. Taste is medium body and a little sweeter than most pilsners I’ve tried. Finish is smooth creamy and nice bitterness. kramer (2482), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 17, 2007 12 oz bottle, via Monger. Pours a slightly hazy marigold yellow body under a small fizzy white head that left lots of heavy lacing as it receded. The aroma is doughy pils malt with a minimal hoppy note. A little bit of a copper like metallic note. The flavor is very bready and doughy with a yeasty and lightly grassy finish. Not especially crisp or clean tasting. Very minimal hoppiness. Mouthfeel is very soft and kind of limp with moderate fizzy carbonation. This wasn’t the best Pilsner, but it was decent. I think I tend to prefer a cleaner, more crisp. Pilsner. troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 22, 2007 (Bottle) Pours a golden color with a nice white head. Aroma of grains. Grainy and citrusy taste. Balanced, but the only complaint I have is the aftertaste. It seems to have a metallic taste to it. Otherwise, it has a dry finish with moderate carbonation. brentfeesh (1039), Gadsden, Alabama, USA

Very light wet straw and grain aroma. Simple with hints of sweetness. The flavor has lightly sweet grains with hints of grass and lemon citrus. The flavors are generally delicate and drinkable. Semi-dry medium body. Not bad. detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 3, 2007 Updated: Mar 4, 2007Pours a lightly hazed gold, initially producing a thin head of white foam. This recedes fairly quickly to a film and ring, but leaves behind decent splotchy lacing when you tilt the glass. Mild malt in the aroma, with just a hint of smoke. No smoke is found in the flavor however. This is a crisp and clean tasting beer, though just a bit on the the sweet side for the style. Excellent herbal spicy hop bitterness in the finish. And aftertaste. Smooth, subtle, and tasty. Stine (1380), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA

Aroma of urinal and citrus eases simply into to a mostly tolerable flavor of similar description. Acidic and pungent in the mouth; finishes with sour grain grit and grassy bite. Unpleasant; poorly done. buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA
