Screw-Top Bottle: Clear golden/yellow body with a smallish white head. It has a pretty subdued aroma, some sweet pale malt and light hop scents of grapefruit and pine. Nice and snappy mouthfeel. The flavor is sweet with pale malt, has a bit of toasted white bread, and a rather indistinct hop bitterness. The hops are more defined in the finish - pine, grapefruit, and flowers. Sessionable.

The hops is underplayed. Malt standouts yet mercifully without chalkiness often associated with it. Session ale. If a hop head like me likes it has to have nice craft and flavor going for it.

Had this one on draught at the brewery in Middleton, Wisconsin. Clear, medium golden pour with a wispy white head, light floral hoppy nose, nuanced bitterness but plenty of floral, piney hops. Strong but balanced finish. Great!

Pours a transparent deep golden bronze with a thin, wispy white head. Aroma of fairly fresh, slightly resiny grapefruity hops with some mild sweet pale maltiness. Body starts semi-sweet with some grainy pale malty character balanced with some piny flavoring and bittering hops toward a semi-dry finish. Pretty drinkable, but not as assertive as some APAs.

US Pale is one of the better APAs I’ve had lately. Very nice sweet citrus aroma balances the hoppy bitterness in the flavor. Solid malt backbone to a high acid APA makes this one a good choice any day.

Bright, medium gold body with a light off white head. The aroma is classic light grapefruit with some dandelions. There is also a little a little bit of bread crust. The taste has light grapefruit flavors with some bread crust. A little bit of floral notes creep in as it warms. The body is sharply carbonated and this is a little distracting.

Nice clear amber color with a good sized foamy head. Aroma of flowery hops, light citrus and malt. Nice floral hops backbone with a bit of bready malt to balance it out. Very nice.

How strange to smell primarily hops from a Capital brew. Don’t get muchmore then hops ,more like a light IPA rather then APA, The lightness and dryness of the taste does surprise, seems like American hops with German grain malt backing, only the hopping puts this above a macro, tastes like aGerman attempt at an APA, the hops and dryness do make this very thirstquenching, this would be an excellent first brew after a bike ride or jog
