MartiniFiend (104), Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, USA Jul 17, 2008 Bottle. Dark gold with a medium head. Hop and citrus aroma. Light and foamy to the palate. Nice hop flavor but a little on the weak side.
mcjay (122), Neenah, Wisconsin, USA Oct 30, 2008 Nice golden color with a medium off white head and very good carbonation. Aroma and taste both have a nice hop to malt balance. Seems a little tame for a pale ale but still remains rich and flavorful. noncaloric (166), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Oct 27, 2008 Nice grapefruit hops aroma, light honey malts. Medium clear amber, thin white head, no lace. Strong citrus hops on the front with honey sweetness, then finishes a little off; the hops are more bitter than aromatic in a way that doesn’t work well with the biscuity malt finish. Medium body, frothy carbonation, prickly hops. Strykzone (1059), Wood River, Illinois, USA Sep 2, 2008 Light golden clear beer with a decent off white head. A nice hop aroma with some caramel malt. Earthy flavor a nice hop / malt balance. Light fruit, spice, and floral tastes. No adjuncts noticed. A zesty feel. American Pale Ale Lite might describe this one. Bockyhorsey (2056), Mesa, Arizona, USA Aug 21, 2008 12oz bottle courtesy of mother in law. Cirus lemon and wet malt aroma. Golden body with white head. Lemon zest flavor with moderate bitter flavor.
