1400 a 12 oz bottle part of the two cases of beer wife got for me on a recent trip to Wi.
Fermented fruity aroma with alcohol alerting the nose of it’s pesence. Orange body with white head. Mild sweetness with a juicy candy flavor and alcohol also doing it’s job of burning the palate. Some sugar sweet fruit on palate with some numbness after beer is finished.

Thanks to buckybeer for the bottle. Clear orange with a small head. Aroma of pale malts and floral hops. Taste was sweet, almost honey-like, with some spicy/floral hops coming through. Alcohol warmth is noticeable. Hard to pin down, but I kind of liked it.

Bottle. Pours dark copper color with a smallish beige colred head. Aroma is bready, caramel malt, some hop notes. Flavor is caramel malts, dough, alcohol, citrus. Palate is medium to full bodied with a mild carbonation, finishes sweet and sticky. Average.

Sampled a bottle with a friend. Too much going on here; the brew never forms a cohesive taste. I wouldn’t drink it again.

Eric sent this along as a freebie. Well, it was crap (but thanks anyway)! Pours to a hazy caramel colored body with a mostly and quickly dissipating white head. The aroma is banana chips, grassy hops, wintergreen. The flavor is simple pale malts. Sort of has a banana extract like quality. English hops I swear! Seems more like an ESB than an ASA! The palate is bitter but not overly so. Sticky and blah!

One more vote for the "Not sure what they were going for here" catagory.... This coppery brew smells caramelly with a citrus hoppiness. Flavors seemed so complicated that they tended to be muddled and confusing, or at least certainly difficult to decifer. Big sweet caramel malt base, melded with a big overly-aggresive alcohol kick, with a citrusy hop highlight trying to lighten the whole concoction up a bit. I get the distinct impression that this was an experiment gone wrong...but I still would seek it out again just to give the deconstruction another attempt.

Found this one bottled in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Uh, this was a dud. Too complicated for it’s own good, with nothing really standing out long enough and everything kind of turning into an alcoholic finish. I wasn’t happy with this one.

Sweet, hoppy, and citrusy. The texture is thick, and everything works well. Everything fades to the alcohol eventually. Reminds me of gin a bit.
