Murky orange body, thin off-white head. Grassy nose, bready, a little bit soapy. Sweet, bready body with a distinct alcohol bite. Candied fruits, including fig and plum. Lots of earthy spice cuts the sweet malt, and the finish is leafy and firmly hopped. I had no idea when I picked this up it was so potent. Fairly simple, decent but not great.

Bottle courtesy of Juelze, thanks again! Hazy dark orange pour with a bone white head. Aroma of lemongrass, malt and some yeast. Flavors of light spices, earthy hops, yeast and malt. Medium bodied, a bit syrupy...sweet and spicey witha light medicinal finish.

Bottle shared by nolankowal: Pours a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma, light bready malts, some caramel. Flavor, pale malts, some fruits, caramel and some faint spices, a little yeasty. Eh.

Copper pour, tiny white head. Aroma of very sweet malts, caramel and buttery. Flavor is much the same sweet caramel malts, buttery, a touch of chocolate in the aftertaste, bitter crisp hop finish with a touch of grapefruit. Smooth thin mouthfeel that accentuated the big malty sweetness. A little too much on the sweet side.

Bit of a surprise to see an "American Strong Ale" from Capital, one fine brewer. It’s got a bright copper body with a respectable ecru head. Strongly malty like a bock, caramel, and some grapefruit bitterness to balance it out. Don’t know what they were shooting for, but it’s tasty. Sweet and malty with a substantial hop bitterness (mainly citric in nature) to keep it in check. Not bad.

Thanks to Beerdrenched for this brew. Pours copper with a beige sudsy head. The aroma has musty malt with caramel, hazelnut, cotton candy and cola. Medium / full body with a grainy feel and moderate semi-soft carbonation. The flavor starts with earthy malt, apples, some spicy hops and some breadiness. The finish has more spice and on overly sweet malt kick. An alright beer.

Bright Golden Amber with White Ring. Caramel, Citrus Hops Aroma.Pretty Subtle. Alot of Bready Malt, Caramel...Very Sweet Tasting...Citrusy Hops Try to Tame it Down. Alcohol is Well Hidden.. Lightly Bitter Dry Aftertaste. After a While Some Malty Grain Notes Work Their Way Out. Extremely Drinkable Big Beer.

Poured a hazy golden with an off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, and some wheat bread. Taste the same as aroma a bit grainy, and the head is fizzy. Nice lacing. Some bitterness going down and remains during the finish. Alcohol is a bit high to my liking but still palatable.
